Our care group is going through the "Tangible Kingdom". It is a great study with small bits of homework and mission each day. I highly recommend it if you are interested in expanding the mission you do with any group you are committed too.
Our ladies are studying Jonah by Priscilla Shirer. Excellent study. Amazing little book. Completely moved by the intimate and powerful image of God displayed on those pages. It really contrasts the humanity of Jonah. I am Jonah in so many ways. Humbling.

Our precept group is studying 2 Kings/Chronicles..."Passing the Mantle"
ReplyDeleteWe actually started yesterday. We had such an amazing discussion...I think everyone was more than ready to start. b/c it's only a 5 week course, we are going to meet every other week most times, allowing us to spend more time in the passages.
...how we so need to be pouring our lives into others. Our spouses, kids, and friends, equipping them to serve God and too, pass on the mantle.
I chose Eph 1:18, and then adding a verse every time we get together so we complete the passage.
